In 1988 Martini Racing commissioned Paolo D'Alessio to do the graphic design for the Lancia Delta which was participating in the World Rally Championship at the time. Since then he has handled many aspects of corporate image development and has designed some of the most renowned racing graphics in tecent years. The liveries adorning the Lancia Deltas which won the world championship in 1989, 1990, 1991 and 1992 were designed by him, as were the graphics for the Ford Escort WRC, also run by Martini Racing, the DTM Alfa Romeo 155s, several racing Fiats, the Group C Alba raced by Team Coppelli - Duracell, the Porsche 956/962s raced by Team Brun, the Renault berlinettas with which Massimo Sigala won four consecutive Renault Cup titles, the Group C Porsches and Nissans raced by Momo Corse, the Moretti Racing Ferrari 333 SP, which won th 1998 edition of the Daytona 24 hours and, more recently, the Team Rossocorsa Ferrari 360 Modena and the Top Run Fiat Puntos.
